Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and determination to enhancing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services throughout an engagement along with the company's senior professionals in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric examinations.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% on the registered pupils inside the schooling sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
